Our story

There are plenty of athletic shoes for kids. What’s missing are shoes truly designed for them.

worldie was born from our goal to create the shoe we wish we had growing up. We partnered with families and leading footwear experts from brands like Adidas, testing every design through play sessions with kids. What came out of it is a shoe that actually fits childhood — comfortable, durable, versatile, and built for growth.

Aaron is an avid athlete and talented businessman. He played sports competitively from kindergarten to college, racking up countless wins, losses, life lessons and memories along the way. In sports and in life, Aaron has always enjoyed assisting others. After reflecting on his own experiences as a kid, he thought the footwear industry could do more for young athletes. He teamed up with Brandan and surveyed hundreds of parents, confirming that many were unsatisfied with the current footwear options. He’s excited to create a shoe that helps kids play as many sports as they can - much like he did when he was younger. Aaron graduated magna cum laude from Wharton and holds a JD/MBA from the University of Chicago. He has worked with some of the world’s largest companies as a management consultant.​ Aaron's Sports: Soccer, Hockey, Basketball, Baseball.

A solutions-driven Marketing Manager with a sharp analytical approach, Fionna brings deep expertise in crafting and revitalizing marketing strategies to meet evolving brand needs. Known for her ability to lead creative initiatives and boost brand engagement, she specializes in building campaigns that connect with diverse audiences in meaningful ways. Beyond her professional work, Fionna is passionate about representation in media. Alongside her daughter, she co-authored 100 Days Inside, a heartfelt children’s book inspired by their experience during quarantine that celebrates their blended, multicultural family. Together, they also created Mindful Littles, an inclusive deck of affirmation cards designed to empower children of all backgrounds. Their work has been featured on the OWN Network, NBC, and was even included in the 2021 GRAMMYs gift bags. Both 100 Days Inside and its companion book 100 Days Outside are available now on Amazon.
