What sizes do you offer?
We currently offer sizes 9C through 3Y, covering ages 4–8, but we will expand our size range as we grow!
What sports can worldie shoes be used for?
Our shoes are designed to support all kinds of play – on grass, turf, tracks, courts, concrete, and dirt. Whether it's soccer, basketball, running, or just climbing and biking, worldie shoes are built to keep up.
Do worldie shoes fit true to size?
worldie shoes are designed with a roomier toe box for growing feet, so they tend to run a bit large. We've partnered with SizeWise to help ensure the perfect fit and offer optional foot scans to guide sizing.
Are the shoes waterproof?
Yes! worldie shoes feature a fully waterproof membrane that also allows air to pass through – keeping feet dry and sweat-free.
Are the shoes machine-washable?
Absolutely. Just toss them in the wash and let them air dry.
Where are the shoes made?
Our first production run is in China, but we’re working toward hyperlocal manufacturing here in the U.S. Stay tuned!
What materials are used?
worldie shoes are made from recycled materials. We’ve designed them with durability and sustainability in mind.
What makes worldie different from other kids' shoes?
We don’t shrink adult shoes – we build for kids from the ground up. Our shoes are multi-sport, waterproof, durable, and made to support growing, active feet.
Are the shoes really multi-sport?
Yes. One pair is built to handle what would usually take 2–3 different pairs of sport-specific shoes.
Will there be more colors in the future?
Definitely. Some will be limited-edition, and many will be inspired or co-designed by kids.
What does "kids-first" mean to you?
It means designing shoes that work with how kids move – running, biking, puddle-jumping – and how they grow. It also means giving them a voice in how their shoes look. And at a deeper level, it means thinking long-term about the world they’ll inherit, by creating shoes that reduce waste, use recycled materials, and move us closer to a circular economy.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Yes – we want kids to be happy with their shoes. We’ll share more on the process post-Kickstarter.
Is there a subscription?
Not quite. But for parents who opt in, we offer foot scan-based size tracking and growth updates. You’ll be notified when it might be time to size up.
Will there be opportunities to recycle or trade in old pairs?
That’s our goal! We're building toward a circular model, and we’ll let the community know as soon as it's live.
